Weihong obtained his B.S. in Thermal engineering from the Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. in Energy and Power engineering from the Tsinghua University. At Tsinghua, he worked under the guidance of Prof. Hongde Jiang and Prof. Jing Ren. After that, he worked as a Research Associate at James Watt School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, UK, under the guidance of Prof. Zhibin YU. He then joined HKUST in 2019 as a Research Assistant Professor of the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering (Prof. Shuhuai Yao's Lab)and Junior Fellow at the HKUST Jockey Club Institute for Advanced Study (IAS), where he also collaborated closely with Prof.Baoling Huang. After that, he started as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at City University of Hong Kong in Nov. 2021.

Miss Zhang joined MetLab in 09/2022. She ranks 2/228 at Sichuan University Pittsburgh College. Her current research is on the interfacial phenomenon. She will work on bubble dynamics in water electrolysis.
